I highly recommend Mike and his team at MRC Construction. They just completed an extremely challenge roof on our 2 story boat house, with a very steep pitch (75' x 30'). When I purchased this property from family last year I knew I would have repairs coming my way and this roof was one. Approx 4-5 years ago before my Dad got sick, he tried to get this roof handled and no one wanted to do the job. No one wanted to work over the water so high up with no dock on one side. Since then just temp repairs were done. Then the wind storm on Seneca finally took panels off and I was left with a big hole and potential for more damage. After doing a year of clean up and improvements to this property, I suddenly felt defeated looking at this hole and remembering my Dad's frustrations trying to get it replaced sooner. I needed a quick repair and asked for recommendations on Keuka Lake FB Page. Mike quickly replied, messaged me and offered to come see it the same day to give me a free estimate. He discussed his approach and never seemed fazed by the difficulty of the job. After doing a much smaller and lower roof earlier in the year, we had an expectation of cost. Mike said many will bid X, which was spot with our expectations, but that he and his team were efficient and could do it for less and gave me the price. We didn't select Mike due to price though, but because of his eagerness to do the job, timeliness and he did everything he said he was going to do. He expedited the job to minimize more property risk and today it is done! MRC is a great, friendly and very efficient team who does top quality work. It is rare to find a contractor that sticks to his word, but you can count on that with MRC. Many thanks to Mike and his team for such an incredible job. I never thought I'd get so excited about a roof but I'm showing everyone the pictures! Looking forward to having your team on our other projects.
